What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

An Exuberant Declaration of FaithThe Lord is my light and my salvation;Whom shall I fear?The Lord is the strength of my life;Of whom shall I be afraid?
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
Be of good courage,And He shall strengthen your heart,All you who hope in the Lord.
Fear not, for I am with you;Be not dismayed, for I am your God.I will strengthen you,Yes, I will help you,I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
Those who wait on the LordShall renew their strength;They shall mount up with wings like eagles,They shall run and not be weary,They shall walk and not faint.
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the air, on all that move on the earth, and on all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand.
The fear of the wicked will come upon him,And the desire of the righteous will be granted.
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
The Lord is on my side;I will not fear.What can man do to me?
Do not be afraid of sudden terror,Nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes;
I will not be afraid of ten thousands of peopleWho have set themselves against me all around.
Let all the earth fear the Lord;Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;
To grant us that we,Being delivered from the hand of our enemies,Might serve Him without fear,
That we should be saved from our enemiesAnd from the hand of all who hate us,
The God of Israel said,The Rock of Israel spoke to me:‘He who rules over men must be just,Ruling in the fear of God.
Serve the Lord with fear,And rejoice with trembling.
For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.
“And of whom have you been afraid, or feared,That you have liedAnd not remembered Me,Nor taken it to your heart?Is it not because I have held My peace from of oldThat you do not fear Me?
Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper;I will not fear.What can man do to me?”
You shall not show partiality in judgment; you shall hear the small as well as the great; you shall not be afraid in any man’s presence, for the judgment is God’s. The case that is too hard for you, bring to me, and I will hear it.’
