Touching the Priest’s vestments
The priest’s vestments were considered sacred and were worn as part of their holy role in serving God. While there isn’t a specific rule about touching them, there is a general principle of treating sacred things with respect. In the Old Testament, mishandling sacred objects or roles could result in serious consequences, reflecting how seriously holiness was taken. In the New Testament, while the focus is more on the priesthood of all believers, the importance of reverence for God's work remains. So, the idea is to always show respect for holy things, including the priest’s garments.
